Stay on top of this year's interior design trends for all your staging purposes. For this post, STAGED is focusing on the different ways to channel your inner Scandinavian style. Check it out!
PYRAMID CHAIRS. Pyramid chairs have been around for a while, but they are the signature chair for the Scandinavian look. The lightly colored wooden legs allow the eye to focus on the color of the pyramid chair itself. The Wire Dining Chair is the newest edition to Pyramid Dining Chair collection, with padded seating the chair is also staged as an accent chair, rather than keeping it exclusively as a dining chair. Tossing a small Sheepskin rug or blanket adds texture to the space.
DRY AIR PLANTS. The succulent phase is not over yet! Succulents are a God send for those looking to stage. These plants are perfect for adding life to your vacant space without the worry of having to water them every day. Big or small, the pops of green perfectly compliment accents of copper and blue in the world of Scandinavian inspired rooms.
COPPER ACCENTS. Metallic accents are really stealing the show this year, but the Scandinavian style calls for Copper in particular! Wither it be a lamp for a coffee table, the chic shine really brings out the neutral tones in any room. STAGED's Mirrored Nesting Table is a great way to incorporate copper if you aren't too certain you want a bold copper statement piece.
POPS OF BLUE. Feeling the blues isn't always a bad thing. Bright blue pillows, clear blue vases, or dark ocean blue sofas stand out beautifully against the black and white color scheme, mixed woods, and lively green plants.
MONOCHROME ARTWORK. With a different array of neutral furnishing and bold accents, monochrome artwork is the way to go. Black and White canvases like the Graphic Black Maze create a chic and elegant look.
STRIPES. Is there such a thing as too much black? Not when there are white stripes involved. We have overdosed on chevron and moved on to making stripes comeback. Stick with simply two colors when choosing your striped furnishings, this way your Scandinavian home does look like an eclectic prop house! Black and white are the trendiest way to go this season. STAGED's Black and White Cabana Pillow and Black Velvet Pillow are two great accents to bring stripes into the Scandinavian element.
